✓ Dr. Mukans has augmented his knowledge and presented reports regarding his scientific activity at world congresses in laparoscopy, bariatrics, emergency and bile duct surgery in South Korea, France, Finland, Netherlands, Romania, Germany, Croatia and Lithuania.
✓ From 2015 to 2018, Dr. Mukans has taught assistant doctors in surgery at Riga Stradiņš University’s Red Cross College of Medicine. Dr. Mukans consults on medical statistics.
✓ Dr. Mukans has studied the performance of minimally invasive manipulations in ultrasound control (biopsy, drainage) and evaluation of stomach pathologies.
